On February 14, 2023 the seminar «Potato-2023» took place. The seminar was organized by TOV BASF Ukraina and TOV Solana Ukraina with the participation of the Institute of Potato, Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences and was held in the conference hall of the Ramada Encore hotel in Kyiv.
The report "Potato life goes on!", presented by the seed agronomist of TOV Solana Ukraina, Oleksii Olabyn, was devoted to the results of the 2022 potato season, diseases and factors that affected the the growing season in 2022, and measures that will help reduce the negative impact of external factors and diseases in 2023.
Our partners from BASF paid attention to the increased harmfulness of Colletotrichum coccodes causing potato anthracnose and the spread of this disease in 2022, as well as the special features of the fungicides for seed treatment and herbicides from the BASF. Colleagues from the Institute of Potato reported about the Institute's activities and introduced the new varieties created within the Institute's walls.
